  • Why choose in-home cat sitting?
Cats are sensitive to their environment, which makes them highly susceptible to experiencing stress. This not only causes cats a great deal of discomfort, but can also negatively affect their overall health and behaviour. Stress responses may include hiding, loss of appetite, over grooming (resulting in hair loss), and spraying indoors. Cats experiencing high levels of stress are also extremely vulnerable to contracting upper respiratory infections, which can easily be spread between cats sharing the same environment. In-home cat sitting is a great solution to help minimize any stress your cat may experience while you're away from home. It allows them to stay in their safe space, while still receiving the care they need. *Cats that have severe illnesses or medical conditions should be placed in an environment where they can be monitored regularly
  • What time of day do visits occur?
Visits usually occur between from 8am-11am and 3pm-7pm Clients purchasing one visit a day can request the time of their cat(s) visit Clients purchasing two visits a day will receive one morning visit and one evening visit Cats that need medication will be visited in accordance with the time that their medication is needed *Appointment times are dependent on time slot availability

They are opportunities for them to exercise their senses and they provide a positive outlet for your cat's energy. Enrichment is an essential factor to an animal's overall happiness and well-being. A few enrichment activities that I provide include playing with toys, using puzzle feeders and lick mats, and watching wildlife videos.
